Dress Regulations
Members and Guests of Southern Golf Club are required to maintain a respectable standard of dress, both on course and in the clubhouse, commensurate with that of a prestigious private golf club.
Members are responsible for ensuring their guests adhere to the dress code
On Course & Practice Facilities – Acceptable
Neat and tidy golf attire must be worn at all times, specifically:
- Fitted or tailored pants, shorts or skirt
- Shirts to be collared or roll neck and men’s shirts MUST be tucked in
- Sport socks above shoe height, preferably white
- Shoes designed for golf
Clubhouse – Acceptable
Neat casual attire may be worn in the clubhouse. Clean footwear is required, the style of shoe must ensure the foot is enclosed at all times. Hats must be removed.
NOT Acceptable at Any Time
- Denim of any description
- Singlets and sport jerseys
- Work wear or High Vis
- Thongs, scuffs or crocs
- ActIve/gym or beach wear
- Metal spiked golf shoes
- Cargo shorts / pants, tracksuits, or other casual wear not designed for golf
- Motifs or logos larger than pocket size
- Hats worn backwards.
Failure to adhere to these regulations will result in members and/or guests being refused access to the course and/or clubhouse.
