Fathers Day Wine Offer

To mark our special occasion, we have teamed up with former Club Champion and renowned winemaker Liam Anderson (Wild Duck Creek) to put together a commemorative bottling to celebrate 75 years of Southern Golf Club.

• ‘Southern Golf Club Shiraz’. $30 a bottle or 6 for $150/12 for $300

This Shiraz was matured in quality French oak (10% new) and bottled with minimal fining and filtration. It displays dark, almost black colour saturation with purple tinges. Lifted aromas of ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark plum are apparent along with the Heathcote five spice hint and some subtle vanillin French oak overlays. The palate is full bodied with concentrated & intense flavours of wild blackberry, liquorice, dark cherry and  spice. The wine has a plush, round and elegant texture, with silky tannin structure and subtle power. It has a long, deep fruited and satisfying finish. 2022 was a beautiful vintage in Heathcote.
