James has been at the Southern Golf Club since 1999 and has represented the club as an amateur in the Division 1 pennant team.   

James graduated from his PGA traineeship in 2006 program with honors having been awarded a scholarship for academic excellence over his three year degree. He also recorded a number of high placings in tournaments.

James is an AAA rated PGA professional that is a fully dedicated instructor and utilises K-Vest 3D biomechanics technology to accelerate his students learning.

James is a qualified club fitter, and has extremely good results with his pupils. Many of which have seen a huge improvement once fitted with clubs that suit their swing dynamics.
